Being a professional athlete comes with a certain exclusivity that not everyone has the privilege to experience. Yes, we are all fans, but being on the court, field, or pitch requires hard work and skill. Unfortunately, this exclusivity only gets smaller and less lucrative when it comes to women's sports. Barriers like equal pay, facility space, and representation hinder women from receiving the same accolades professional men's teams experience.

This narrative needs to be changed in these communities because there is always another way to be successful.
